Mahesh is a bright & determined engineering student from a financially struggling family in Telangana. Despite facing serious personal and health challenges, he continues his studies with courage and dedication. 

To support himself, he delivers milk part-time, working hard every day to keep his dream of education alive.

Family Background:

Father: Abandoned the family 15 years ago

Mother: Works as a watchwoman and domestic helper, earning ₹10,000–18,000/month

Raised by his mother since age 2

Health Challenges:

- Diagnosed with Osteoid Osteoma, causing intense spinal pain

- Multiple tests done at Apollo and Star Hospitals

- Family has already spent ₹1.2 lakhs on treatment

Journey with Me2We:

- The family approached Me2We for medical support through our member Naveen Kumar CH

- Physical verification was conducted on 03/08/2025 Me2We member Sagar Motupalli

Considering his health condition and after understanding their financial situation, we decided to support him for spine surgery.

Our member Sagar & Markandeya visited hospital on Friday (08/08/2025) and executed the event.

Background Information:

About Shobha garu:

Shobha garu, a single mother from Nizamabad, Telangana. Her husband, who migrated to Libya for work, tragically lost his life in a local mishap when their only daughter Manasa visually impaired was just a child. Shobha garu moved to Hyderabad to ensure Manasa's quality education.

Me2We's journey with their family:

- With no steady income, they rely on her daughter Manasa's pension for fulfilling few basic needs and could not manage expenses for Manasa's education and other basic needs. So, approached Me2We in April 2017 for support.

- Considering their financial situation and Manasa's marks, we have taken their family's responsibility and continue supporting them from past 7+ years.

- With our support, Manasa has completed her degree final year and is now preparing for civil services. She cleared prelims and recently took her mains exams and waiting for result. We're proud to continue supporting her. 

Our support so far: 

- Supporting for Manasa's education and health needs 

- Paid house rent for few months 

- Providing rice and groceries monthly 

- Many more ad-hoc requirements

As part of our assistance, we provided rice and groceries for Aug 2025.

Family Background:

Father: Passed away due to throat cancer a few years ago.

Mother: Manages the household and supports her three children by running a small grocery shop.

Maternal Grandmother: Works as a cook in Vijayawada and has been a pillar of support, especially for his sisters' education.

Academic Journey:

- 9.1 CGPA in S.S.C.

- 371/470 in Intermediate 1st year

Challenges Faced:

- High medical expenses for his father’s treatment led to the sale of ancestral property and accumulating debts.

- Financial struggles worsened during COVID-19, with his mother unable to work due to health issues.

- Despite hardships, his mother continues to manage household responsibilities alone.

Journey with Me2We:

- As they could not afford Siva Sai Krishna’s education and reached Me2We for support.
