Background Information:

- Satyam Chanda is a dedicated daily laborer working at a granite company in Khammam

- On September 9, 2025, during Ganesh Nimajjan celebrations, tragedy struck—while seated on a tractor, a Ganesh idol accidentally fell on him

- The impact caused a severe spinal fracture, altering his life in an instant

Health Challenges:

- Initially treated at Stambhadri Hospital, Khammam, Telangana

- Later shifted to NSR Hospitals, Warangal for critical spinal surgery, which was successfully completed.

- Unfortunately, the lower half of his body remains paralyzed

- Doctors have prescribed long-term physiotherapy for six months to 1 year to help him regain mobility

Family Background:

- Wife: Ramya, a homemaker and now full-time caregiver

- Children: Two young kids (10-year-old boy and 6-year-old girl)

- Residence: Rented house in Khammam (₹2,500/month)

- Monthly Household Income: ₹15,000

- Surgery was funded through a ₹1,50,000 gold loan — Ramya pledged her Mangal Sutra

Journey with Me2We:

- Request submitted by: Me2We member Praveen Damala

- Physical verification: Conducted on 29/09/2025 at 10:30 AM by Me2We volunteer Ranjith

- Support extended: ₹1,25,058 towards initial physiotherapy expenses for 2 months at Pasunooti Neuro & Multispecialty Rehabilitation Center, Warangal

Satyam’s condition is critical and requires urgent, sustained physiotherapy for at least the next 6 months to regain mobility.

Considering his health condition and after understanding their financial situation, we decided to support him for physiotherapy.

As part of this continued support, Cycle 6 (02/12/2025 to 22/1/2026 for 38 days) physiotherapy expenses of ₹30,400 have now been covered by Me2We.

Our members Praveen Damala & SK. Yakub Pasha visited Satyam's house at Khammam om 23/01/2026 and executed the event.

Fee amount: Rs. 17,900

Donors:

Aashish Jain

Thank you Aashish for contributing to this noble cause.

Background Information:

We received this request from our Me2We beneficiary Ritija to support Siva Sai Krishna, an academically brilliant student from Machilipatnam. Despite financial hardships, he remains determined to pursue his education.

Family Background:

Father: Passed away a few years ago due to throat cancer.

Mother: Runs a small grocery shop and single-handedly takes care of three children.

Maternal Grandmother: Works as a cook in Vijayawada and has been a strong pillar of support, especially in helping with his sisters’ education.

Financial Condition: The family faced severe financial challenges due to medical expenses during his father’s treatment, forcing them to sell ancestral property and manage debts. The COVID-19 pandemic and prolonged unemployment worsened their situation.

Challenges faced:

- Loss of father and medical debts created long-term financial strain.

- Mother’s limited income from a small grocery shop is insufficient to cover educational expenses.

- Responsibility of supporting two sisters’ education further adds to the burden.

- Siva Sai Krishna has consistently performed well in academics, demonstrating brilliance despite financial struggles.

- His family, however, could not afford his intermediate college fee, leading them to seek support from Me2We.

Verification:

- Me2We member Rajasekhar Babu Kunapareddy visited Siva Sai Krishna’s house at Machilipatnam on 19/05/2024 for physical verification.

- After thorough verification and understanding the family’s situation, Me2We decided to support his intermediate college fee.

Thank you Sai Krishna  for your time and efforts for physically verifying the requirement.

Background Information:

We received this request from our Me2We volunteer Sivaram Mathi to support Anil Yenduri, B.Tech student from Bhimavaram. Despite financial hardships, Anil remains focused on his academic journey and future aspirations.

Family Background:

Father: Works as a delivery partner for Swiggy/Zomato, earning around Rs. 8,000–10,000 per month.

Mother: Homemaker.

Financial Condition: With limited income, Anil’s father is unable to support his son’s hostel food and accommodation expenses.

Academic Journey and Achievements:

- Studied in a government school until 10th grade, then pursued MPC at Chaitanya Junior College, Machilipatnam.

- Achieved excellent marks in 10th grade, earning a fee concession. His parents managed the remaining tuition through the Amma Vodi scheme.

- Scored 973 marks in Intermediate and secured a state rank of 6,955.

- Earned admission into SRKR Engineering College (CSE department), one of the region’s most reputable institutions.

Challenges Faced:

- Accommodation is arranged through a community-based welfare trust, which provides stay at no cost. However, students must share monthly maintenance expenses of Rs. 3,800–4,000 per student.

- Monthly shared expenses include: Cook Salary: Rs. 25,000, Helpers Salary: Rs. 21,000, Groceries, electricity, and miscellaneous: Rs. 80,000

- These costs are divided among the students, making it difficult for Anil’s family to manage.

Verification:

- Me2We member Ravi Kumar visited Anil’s hostel at Bhimavaram for physical verification on 13/12/2025.

- Me2We member Sai Krishna Motupalli visited Anil’s home for physical verification on 03/01/2026.
