Background Information:  

👷‍♂️ Satyam Chanda is a dedicated daily laborer working at a granite company in Khammam  

📅 On September 9, 2025, during Ganesh Nimajjan celebrations, tragedy struck—while seated on a tractor, a Ganesh idol accidentally fell on him  

⚠️ The impact caused a severe spinal fracture, altering his life in an instant  

Health Challenges:  

🏥 Initially treated at Stambhadri Hospital, Khammam, Telangana  

🚑 Later shifted to NSR Hospitals, Warangal, Telangana for critical spinal surgery  

✅ Surgery successfully completed at NSR Hospitals  

🚫 Unfortunately, the lower half of his body remains paralyzed  

🧘‍♂️ Doctors have prescribed long-term physiotherapy for six months  

(₹25,000 per 10-day cycle) to help him regain mobility  

✅ So far, sixcle completed

Family Background:  

👩 Wife: Ramya, a homemaker and now full-time caregiver  

👶 Children: Two young kids (10-year-old boy and 6-year-old girl)  

🏠 Residence: Rented house in Khammam (₹2,500/month)

💍 Surgery was funded through a ₹1,50,000 gold loan — Ramya pledged her Mangal Sutra

Background Information:

About Shobha garu:

Shobha garu, a single mother from Nizamabad, Telangana. Her husband, who migrated to Libya for work, tragically lost his life in a local mishap when their only daughter Manasa visually impaired was just a child. Shobha garu moved to Hyderabad to ensure Manasa's quality education.

Me2We's journey with their family:

- With no steady income, they rely on her daughter Manasa's pension for fulfilling few basic needs and could not manage expenses for Manasa's education and other basic needs. So, approached Me2We in April 2017 for support.

- Considering their financial situation and Manasa's marks, we have taken their family's responsibility and continue supporting them from past 7+ years.

- With our support, Manasa has completed her degree final year and is now preparing for civil services. She cleared prelims and recently took her mains exams and waiting for result. We're proud to continue supporting her. 

Our support so far: 

- Supporting for Manasa's education and health needs 

- Paid house rent for few months 

- Providing rice and groceries monthly 

- Many more ad-hoc requirements

Background Information:

Jahnavi is an academically brilliant and economically backward student from Hyderabad, Telangana. She is the only daughter of a single woman who works as an assistant in a Dental Hospital for their survival.

Her father passed away due to a heart attack 5 years ago. He used to work as a physical education trainer in a private school. Everything went well when her father was alive. The sudden demise of her father turned their life upside down, and her mother had to take complete responsibility.

Jahnavi's Academic Achievements:

- Jahnavi has been exceptional in her studies and got 9.5 CGPA in her 10th class. 

- Considering her academic achievements, her school supported her education without fee and also provided books for free of cost. 

- She got 460 marks in her inter 1st-year result

- She is also a kabaddi player and won accolades.

Me2We's journey with Jahnavi:

- As she joined intermediate last year in Sri Chaitanya junior college, KPHB, Hyderabad, and could not afford the fee, she approached us through one of her faculties in May 2023. 

- Our members Sagar Motupalli and Vamsee Krishna visited their house in Hyderabad and physically verified the requirement in June 2023 year. 

- Considering her family's situation, we decided to support her education.

Me2We's Support so far:

- Supported Jahnavi’s education with a total contribution of ₹1,11,250, covering her two years of Intermediate college and books fees

Current support:

She has secured a free seat in a reputed engineering college in Hyderabad, and we proudly supported her with ₹15,000 towards her 1st year placement fee.
