Event 59 (Paid college fee of poor student)

Hi All,

We are very happy to share this information, our Me2We team paid college fee (Rs.5500) of poor student Vaishnavi Oddiraju who is studying 2nd year in Narayana jr.college, Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad.

She got 427 marks in 1st year. She was supposed to get more than 460 marks, but due to family and financial disturbances she was unable to concentrate on her studies.

She has her 2nd year practical exam on15th Feb, 2015. College management informed her mother to pay fee before practical exams otherwise they won't issue hall ticket and won't allow her daughter to write exams.

Her mother Sudharani garu working as cook in one house for Rs:3000 salary which is the only income to serve the family. Her father is jobless, mentally disturbed and addicted to alcohol.

We got to know about their situation from one of our Me2We member Ratna Kumar. Then, we immediately responded and paid the fee and took the hall ticket and handoveed it to Vaishnavi.

They are very happy and conveyed a big thanks to me2we.

Event 58 (Special donation by Ratna Kumar Nanduri)

Donated to : Manavatha nilayam oldage and children home,
Karivena, Athmakur Mandal, kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh

Happy to inform that our Me2We team celebrated sankranthi at Manavatha Nilayam oldage & children home

We conducted several games to them and gave prizes to winners.

The people were very happy and conveyed their gratitude to all our team members.

Some of the old people cried with happiness as their own sons/daughters don't come to see them on the festival day but our team went there and making them happy.

Below are the games we conducted:

1) Rangoli competition to oldaged people
2) Drawing compitition to children
3) Hit the pot game to all
4) Musical chairs game to children

We gave use full items to people as gifts and prizes:

1) Gifted tea mugs & spoons to all people as Sankranthi gift.
2) Distributed chocolates to children and fruits to all.
3) Gave water bottles as prizes to oldaged people who won in games.
4) Gave drawing books, pens & balls as prizes to children who won in games.
