Dear All,
We got to know about a11-year old kid (Vincent Selva) from our Me2We member Pradeep Odapalli.
Vincent got shortlisted for world Karate Championship competition which is going to be held at Orlando, Florida, USA between 23rd September 2016 to 30th September. His coach is very confident on that this kid will definitely win the competition.
Vincent has won many interstate and national Karate championships. His father, Mr.Rex Ignatius runs a small Xerox shop and they are staying in a small room in West maredpally, Hyderabad. Though he is not financially strong, he has been struggling to fulfill his son's dream and passion of being a Karate Champion.
He has tried all possible ways, wrote a letter to PM office seeking financial support for his son's karate competition.
But, there were disappointed with response from PM office that they would release funds only to teams and not to an individual participant.
He also wrote a letter to Telangana Sports Minister by seeking support. But, did not receive any response from them.
So, our Me2We is planning to support this kid by sponsoring 1 lakh. Our team members Kiran, Pradeep, and Vijender personally visited this kid and his father and gathered all the details.
To make this kid participate in this competition, they have to pay money for visa expenses on 25th July. As we have only 5 working days time, request you all to share and contribute for this noble cause.
Please make your donations by 22nd July (Friday).
