Background Story:
These students come from a poor family background, parents working as daily labour and some as agricultural labour and some are orphans. We came to know about the situation of these students through one of the lectures (Mr. Vidya Sagar) of SNSR college whom we met when we had visited to Manavatha Nilayam OldAge home last year (2015). Even this year he came up with a list of students (genuine, studious, eligible) for our support. He also suggested us to even conduct a exam for these students to pick the eligible ones. Having the trust on him and the college from our previous experience, we are taking this requirement.
Even Last year, in November we supported a batch of 19 students (academic year 2015 -16) and the outcome of that was 100% pass percentage.
