Happy to inform that our member Abhishek Purella funded for providing self employment to Manasa's (a visually challenged student to whom we are paying monthly tuition fee) mother.
She has started a small sarees business (by carrying sarees in a bag) on 3rd August 2017 with the support from Me2We. This support will help them to generate income to run their family and meet their expenses without depending on anyone. As she is a single parent, her parents (grand parents of Manasa) have been helping them to pay house rent and other expenses that too with many difficulties.
Our Me2We members Sagar & Kiran Sreeram met her and did first purchase by kickstarting her business. This event was held at Sai Junior college, Near Bible House, Gandhi Nagar, Bhoiguda, Secunderabad.
She initially started with 22 sarees and now she was able to sell 40% of sarees and started getting revenue out of it.
