Dear All,
We got a new requirement to support for artificial eye implantation of a visually impaired girl Sangeetha Maltho.
The reason for replacing eye is water is running out of the current eye frequently, which may cause infection if left unattended. Doctors at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Vizag suggested to get the existing eye removed and get it replaced with artificial glass eye.
Sangeetha is from Jharkhand. Her father and mother are daily farm labor.
Considering her family's financial situation, we decided to support for her artificial eye implantation. Currently, she is taking medicines and eye drops for cleaning the eye and doctors asked her to come after a month for implanting artificial eye.
Our member Sunitha Devi Mekala contributed to purchase medicines for Sangeetha's artificial eye implantation treatment.
Our member Srinivas Sirlapu met Sangeetha on 21/09/2019 at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Vizag and executed the event.
