Background Information:
In this relief drive, we have supported 30 Migrant Quarry Workers Families who are residing in tents at Devender Nagar, Gajularamaram, Hyderabad.
We got to know about these families from Praveen (GHMC Volunteer). When our member Kiran went to purchase vegetables at vegatable shop, Praveen was discussing about these migrant workers with his friends that they did not receive much support. Later, we enquired more details about these needy families and understood that their situation and needs. When we went for distributing the groceries today, few of them informed to our volunteers that they received some groceries from one NGO today and gave us the chance to distribute the groceries to few other affected families.
