Background story:

We got this requirement from our Me2We well-wisher Chand Basha. Harish is a Partially Visually Impaired and academically brilliant student. He has a certification in computer course for visually challenged. He studied his schooling in Devnar School for the Blind and intermediate in Sai Jr College (Devnar management). After that he did his degree in Bhadruka college, Hyderabad with merit scholarship.

Currently, Harish is pursuing MBA@Jagan college, Nellore. Due to covid19 pandemic situation the pattern of conducting the classes was changed (from offline mode to online). Due to that he has been facing problems attending online classes along with course work he has to do with a mobile.

His mother is a Single Woman and gets widow pension of Rs 2000. Harish gets pension of Rs 3000 from the Govt of Telangana. His elder brother works in Gold shop and earns Rs 10000. Their house rent is Rs 3500. As they could not afford for the laptop, they approached us if we can provide a laptop to him.

Our member Sagar Motupalli visited to Harish's house @ Sairam Nagar Colony, Nagaram, Hyderabad on 05/07/2021 and did physical verification.

Reasons why he needs a laptop:

1. To do the MBA project work, he can prepare project by not visiting companies physically. Before Covid, they used to visit companies directly, but now it should be done virtually.

2. To attend online classes and write assignments once in two weeks.

3. Few subjects are based on deep statistics. So, visually impaired students can do this only through laptops. For subjects like stock markets, he has to observe stock exchange of the companies.

4. Along with MBA, he is preparing for competitive exams on his own. Having laptop, he can take online coaching for that.

5. During Covid19 some organizations conducted online classes on advanced level computer classes on Java, Python. He couldn't attend those classes because of not having laptop. The laptop is important not only for MBA but also for his future development.

Considering their situation and necessity of having laptop for Harish, we have provided Used Laptop.

Our members Sagar Motupalli and Kiran Sreeram went to Harish's house and handed over the laptop.
