Background information:

We got this requirement from one of our Me2We beneficiaries Murshad Shaik to whom we supported for MRI scan. 

Naga Shaik is from Obulapur, Karimnagar, Telangana and was born visually impaired, and he is the one of the 6 children in his family. All his siblings are visually impaired. He is the last but one member among his siblings. His father passed away long time ago and his mother passed away around 4 years ago due to kidney problem. 

They stay in a small house (own house constructed by his father), and they have been managing their living with the Govt pension provided for visually impaired. 

He studied till degree with scholarship and Govt institutions where the fee was waivered. In the past, we supported one of his brothers Vali Shaik by paying degree fee

(Distance education) and the other brother Murshad Shaik for MRI Scan expenses. We did physical verification at their native place at that time.

Me2We team also enquired the prospects of this course. The duration of the course is 3 months, and the course fee is Rs 12000. He chose vocal singing. He wanted to pursue his career as a singer by learning music. After learning music, Naga can go for events as a singer, and this can be an earning source for his living. Currently, he is staying at SOCH NGO with free accommodation and food.

Our members Sagar and Kiran visited SN Music academy, Madhura nagar, Hyderabad talked with Naveen garu (Musician) to understand the course curriculum and what opportunities the students can get after completing the course.

They also met Naga Shaik to understand the requirement. After understanding his financial situation and considering that this course provides an income source for him, we decided to support him.

Our member Raviram Bharath visited SN Music academy and executed the event.
