Background Information:

Alakuru Sravani is partially visually impaired student from Mudigallu village, Kalyandurg, Anantapur to whom we have paid her 1st year Degree college fee last year.

Her father works as agriculture labour earns daily Rs. 4500 per month. Her mother passed away 4 years ago.

She did her schooling from RDH, which is NGO in Anantapur Dist that supports education for economically backward people. After that she completed her Intermediate in Sai Junior College, Hyderabad (a subsidiary of Devnar foundation). Till intermediate she had free education and free accommodation as both are NGOs.

Currently, she is studying Degree (B.Com) 3rd year in Karthikeya Degree College, Ibrahimpatnam, Hyderabad and staying at Spoorthy Jyothi Foundation, Ibrahimpatnam who are providing free food and accommodation for visually impaired students.

Initially, Jyothi madam thought of paying Sravani's fee. However, they could not accumulate the funds. So approached us if we can support for Sravani's fee.

After understanding Sravani's financial situation, we decided to support for her Degree college fee and paid his 1st year fee last year.

Now, our member Rahul Akunuri and Dhanush Akunuri visited Karthikeya Degree College on 15/03/2023 and paid the 2nd year fee (Rs. 12000).
