Medical Issue: Shobha garu has been suffering from severe pain due to a slipped disc.

Reached Out: She approached the Me2We community for support, and our member Sathish Guntupally made arrangements for her consultation at Jade Hospital, Kompalli.

Doctor’s Advice: Both Dr. Sudhir and Dr. Kishore’s team advised treatment with medicines and supportive care. While surgery was mentioned as a possibility if pain persists, doctors are confident that medicines and a neck belt will help.

Our Support: We assisted her with MRI scanning, medical tests, and medicines. Sathish helped secure good discounts and arranged manager Stephen to guide her through the process.

About Shobha garu:

Shobha garu, a single mother from Nizamabad, Telangana. Her husband, who migrated to Libya for work, tragically lost his life in a local mishap when their only daughter Manasa visually impaired was just a child. Shobha garu moved to Hyderabad to ensure Manasa's quality education.

Me2We's journey with their family:

- With no steady income, they rely on her daughter Manasa's pension for fulfilling few basic needs and could not manage expenses for Manasa's education and other basic needs. So, approached Me2We in April 2017 for support.

- Considering their financial situation and Manasa's marks, we have taken their family's responsibility and continue supporting them from past 7+ years.

- With our support, Manasa has completed her degree final year and is now preparing for civil services. She cleared prelims and recently took her mains exams and waiting for result. We're proud to continue supporting her.

- Supporting for Manasa's education and health needs 

- Paid house rent for few months 

- Providing rice and groceries monthly
