Background Information:
Ashwini garu is a Me2We needy to whom we have been supporting for her daughters Harshitha and Aiswarya's education from past 1.5 years.
She is a single woman and having three daughters. Her husband passed away last year due to liver failure.
Since then, she is running small curry point business for their survival. We have also tried to generate some revenue for her business by giving catering for Me2We Food distribution events.
She was able to manage her basic expenses with her curry point since March 2020.
But, things got changed due to Covid-19 situation, her business completely shutdown during Covid-19 lockdown period and there was no revenue for her.
She was able to manage the lockdown period with her small savings and with the help of few grocery distributions from local people during lockdown.
Recently, she has reopened her curry point. However, due to Covid-19 situation, most of her customers are not willing to eat food outside and preferring to eat home food. It became very difficult to her to manage her basic family needs and approached us for the support.
By understanding her situation, we have provided rice and groceries which can serve her family for 2 months.
