Thank you All for your support and contribution to provide shelter to Uppalamma garu's family.

Background information:

We got this requirement from Kalluri Nagesh garu (Deputy Sarpanch of Pallevada village) on 18/07/2021 and the requirement is to support the construction of a room for a single woman named Uppalamma garu.

Her husband passed away on 12/04/2021 and left her with 5 children. She was staying in a small hut in a corner of the village with her 5 children where there was a threat of snakes. As her husband also not there to take care of her family, Nagesh garu along with a youth group in his village collected Rs.50000 started with the foundation work for a house and approached Me2We to seek for further support.

Our member Suresh Anuthula from near by village Ramannapet, enquired the details with a local resident of that village to understand the needy’s situation and genuinity of the requirement.

Later, our member Yadagiri Chedipalli garu visited Palliwada village on Aug 28, 2021 and gathered all the information about the requirement.

After having discussion with Yadagiri garu and considering their situation, we informed Nagesh garu to complete house construction work with the amount they have collected through villagers and with the support from Uppalamma garu father Pentayya garu.

It was estimated around Rs. 2 lakhs and in which they have managed to gather and spend around Rs. 1.28 lakhs for the house construction and reached out to us for further support to complete the remaining work.

After understanding their situation and seeing the commitment from Nagesh garu and villagers to support their villager, we have contributed the amount Rs. 71,850 to complete the pending work.

Uppalamma garu's house inauguration was held on 16/01/2022 by Ex.MLC Cherupalli Seetharamulu garu and Uppalamma garu and our members Sagar Motupalli, Kiran Sreeram and Yadagiri Chedipalli garu attended the event.
