Background Information:
We got this requirement from our Me2We Beneficiary Shaik Vali (Visually Impaired) to whom we supported for paying his Degree college fee. The requirement is to support for MRI Scan to his younger brother Shaik Murshad (Visually Impaired).
Murshad is from Obulapuram village, Karminagar, Telangana. His father and mother were passed way. He has 2 sisters & 5 brothers. Unfortunately, out of 8 siblings 6 are visually impaired. His two elder brothers who are normal live separately along with their families. Another elder brother Vali who is married stays with them, but he has his own responsibilities. Out of 5 family members, No one in is earning and they were completely depend on their disability pension (Rs. 3000 each).
Murshad has completed his B.A.(HPP) @ Agraharam Degree Collège, Sircilla in 2020 and currently he is preparing for competitive exams (Bank/SSC).
He was suffering from spine pain since September 2021. Initially, he went to Safe Life hospital, Karimnagar. They have suggested him to go for Abdominal Ultrasound scan. After examining the report, they informed that everything is normal and prescribed some medicines.
As his problem was still not resolved and he could not afford expenses for further treatment, as per suggestion from his known people he consulted Surya Nursing home where they have provided doctor consultation for free of cost to him. Doctor suggested to go for MRI scan (LS spine) for further treatment. As he could not afford the expenses, he approached Me2We through his brother.
After understanding his problem and considering their financial situation, we have contributed for MRI scan. He has gone for MRI scan (LS spine) on 17/01/2022. After going through the scan report, doctor informed that there is a mild Disc Bulge identified and prescribed some medicines and spine belt.
