Background Information:
We got this requirement from our Me2We Beneficiary Satish Jagana. Aruna Kumari is from Vijayawada who has completed her B.Sc Degree last year.
Her mother is a Single Woman who works as a sweeper (contract employee) in a government hostel (for visually impaired) and gets a salary of Rs. 4000 per month. Her father passed away 3 months ago due to ill-health.
She has one elder brother who is physically and mentally challenged. He is and bedridden and unable to walk.
Her grandfather, a pensioner, (her father’s father) provided the support for Aruna's education and their family expenses till he was alive. Running their family has become difficult after her grandfather's death. They are staying in a small house which they got from after her grandfather's death.
Aruna Kumari is an average student. She studied in Telugu medium until 10th class and moved to English medium in Intermediate (10 + 2). She continued in
English medium and completed her degree in BSc (MSCS). Also, she had to take care of her brother when her mother/father went out for their work. So, she could not go to the school/college regularly and could not focus on her studies since her childhood.
This time she is very concerned and conscious and willing to utilize this opportunity and fulfill her dream to get a Govt job and planning her coaching times as per her mother's availability at home.
Our member Lakshmi Prasanna visited her house at Vijayawada and did physical verification and gathered complete information.
After understanding her family's financial situation and considering her wish to crack the govt job, we decided to support for her bank coaching.
Our member Lakshmi Prasanna went to Sreedhar's College for Competitive Exams, Vijayawada and paid the 1st installment fee Rs. 10000 on 15/06/2022. She has visited the institute again on 27/07/2022 and paid the remaining fee Rs. 6000.
