Background Information:
We got this requirement from Sandhya Rani Palaparthy garu a freelance journalist and founder of Aakanksha foundation. She was referred to us by Shravana chary garu (Me2We Beneficiary). Sandhya rani garu gave SubbhaLakshmi garu's (teacher in this school) number to us. We had a call with SubbhaLakshmi garu and gathered preliminary information about the school.
This is a govt aided Telugu medium school and having a history of about 50 years. Due to lack of proper management in the recent years there was no proper funding and was not on par with current requirements.
Students studying here are mostly kids of road-side vendors, municipal garbage collectors, auto drivers, single woman, and other daily labours.
One of the teachers (SubbaLakshmi garu) has been seeking funds since few years from NGOs to support these students requirement. There is a primary school that has 80 students.
Subbalakshmi madam (aided teacher) and her son voluntarily supported for the notebooks to primary students for this year and looking for the support for High school students.
Our Me2We well-wisher Narendran Lanke visited the school on 22nd June, 2022 at 2:00 PM and gathered the required information.
Our members Swathi, Priya, Manjari, and Sangeetha called all of 80 students parents and understood their family background.
You can find more details about this requirement which we gathered during our verification process @ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iVXs4T8h2X9sX7W623KRXSkaOZQF31lU/view
